The company is named Unicorn, name given after the mythological animal that symbolizes the immortality and the power.
This technique called pate de verre, pasta di vetro or in other words glass paste originated 3000 years before Christ.The discoveries showed that it was created and used for the first time in the Phoenicians`workshops and spread afterwards with the help of sailors all over the Mediterranean's world.
The glass molded in different shapes, allows colors, that seem to come from the beginning of the world to combine together and through translucency, discrete reflections to transpose onlookers in a state of immaterial freedom. Still, there are pieces of artwork from that time , that even nowadays impresses very deep, and also make the fame of the most famous museums.
This is the reason that from the beginning of the century and all the way till today famous artists like Antonim Daun, Almaric Walter, Henry Cross, Gerges Despret, Aray Rousseau and most recently modern artist like Salvador Dali made giant efforts to rediscover a long time forgotten technique.

inspired by the Unicorn spirit still consider that the purity is undying.
Therefore they assumed the duty to rediscover the glass` ice gleaming that is born from the ground shapes carefully molded in the regenerating fire. After years of hard work, hardships, anxious expectations, followed by the failures but also by the willing to start all over again in the alchemists` workshops a shining start was born again. Even if every piece of work seems alike the pattern , still is unique in its own way, because of the mixture of colors or the laborer`s own signature that polish the glass with abrasive tools. The glass has the weigh of the crystal with plumb and the hardness is close to diamond`s.When the work can not be done with the tools` help , the chemical acids chosen with science knowledge can help in obtaining the gleaming that elevates the pieces of glass artwork.
